Experience:

Engineering Watch Supervisor: (December 1996 to Present) Serve aboard the USS Idaho (SSBN 744). Provide continuous supervision for up to ten personnel including mechanics, electricians, and electronics technicians for the safe and efficient operation of a nuclear power plant. Coordinate and oversee all engineering watch standers during reactor plant operations and in a shutdown status. Also provide training to junior personnel on nuclear power plant operations. Collateral duties include serving as Engineering Duty Petty Officer, Training Petty Officer, and Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Engineroom Supervisor: (December 1994 to November 1996) Served aboard the USS Spokane (SSN 780). Was responsible for the supervision and training of six other nuclear-trained mechanics in the operation and maintenance of power plant systems and support components during startup, shutdown, normal operations, and testing of systems. Oversaw over 150 planned and corrective maintenance actions of propulsion plant associated systems during both new construction and operational conditions. Collateral duties included serving as Work Center Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector.
